Night Life
The question that is often asked by many people visiting a place for the first time, is, "How is the night life like?" For the benefit of all those visiting Kampala city, Uganda's Capital therefore, I will here below give you a brief insight into a few places you may wish to check out.
The social scene is dazzling and the night life hectic for all age groups and even sizes. I am specifically mentioning size because some "joints" are so small and squeezed that well-fed people may not feel comfortably seated.
There are several bars and night clubs most of which are patronized. A good example is Club Obligato. This place is on the road side. It is in the open. There is blaring live-music and weekly live talk show where people gather to give their views on national issues like politics and the economy. The show is code named "Mambo Bado" and takes place evry saturday and is air on local radio stations. Eating joints rae all over the place. Take aways, restuarants, tea rooms and ofcourse a few 1 Star or 2 Star hotels. Most of the open road side bars and evening joints serve the delicacy charcoal grilled goat meat (muchomo). Ofcourse one would not like to miss out on the really sweet rabbit mea.
